Avenues Realty Group hires new staffers

BLOOMINGTON — Avenues Realty Group has added a new office manager and eight Realtor sales associates.

Established in February by Realtor Tracee Lutes, Avenues is ranked fourth in the marketplace based on listing inventory and has opened new offices in the Furr Building on West Bloomfield Road.

The new sales associates at the agency, each of whom holds an Indiana real estate salesperson license, include:

Lana Eads, who has a range of experience ranging from remodeling and new construction to commercial property management and investment.

Rich Bettler, who has years of experience in residential sales and the acquisition and liquidation of investment property. Bettler is also a specialist in rehabilitation and resale of distressed and historic homes.

Wayne Thacker, who is experienced in residential, investment and commercial property sales. Thacker is also a mortgage broker and principal with Lenders Plus Inc., which leases space from Avenues to provide on-site lending services.

Angela Beard, a specialist in residential real estate sales and marketing.

Tod Weseman, who has experience in farm, land and estate auctions, as well as residential, farm and land sales in Monroe, Lawrence, Owen and Greene counties.

Melissa Murphy, who is experienced in residential investment property, multi-family and high density multi-family properties, property management and commercial properties.

Debbie Connolly, a specialist in residential sales and marketing.

Barry Larson, a graduate of Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and a local real estate builder and developer. Larson has a background in construction, development and business.

Jean Ruhlen joined Avenues as office manager. She was previously with the Indiana University School of Law. Avenues Realty Group staff also includes realtor Georgia Johnson, vice president of client services and client service agents Marla Dickey, who is also a realtor, Simone Casteneda and bookkeeper Cheryl Robertson.

The firm is at 1600 W. Bloomfield Road, where it has just over 4,000 square feet of office space including a children’s area, video screen where customers can go online and a glass art wall.
